Northumberland PA. Engine House Gang, September 1913.

Northumberland Engine House Gang
These Pennsylvania Railroad workers as seen on September 23, 1913 were representative of the thousands of railroad workers who helped make America great.  Railroads themselves were a major economic builder, and helped make industrial development and social advancement possible. Railroads today help keep America strong, as these workers' successors maintain the tradition of diligent work in support of a modern transportation system.

Visit the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania to learn more about our past and the people who helped make us the strong nation that we are.  Enjoy the magnificent locomotives and rail cars from our proud railroading heritage.  Have a happy visit and learn how railroads are important today!
